Fans of Volvo, here’s your chance to get the all-new EX90 electric SUV! Making its North American debut at CES 2023 in Las Vegas, it is now available for preorders on the Volvo US website. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity and be one of the first few to have a piece of premium Swedish engineering.

Volvo selected CES, an expo focused primarily on electronics and technology, to reveal their latest development the EX90. This decision was based on the understanding that it “is not merely a car but rather a cutting-edge computer in motion.”

By joining forces with Google and Luminar, Volvo established the most ingenious all-electric seven-seater SUV to bear the Volvo name, setting a new benchmark for safety and kicking off an innovative era of transportation.

The 2024 EX90 is equipped with cutting-edge long-range lidar, five reliable radars, eight high-definition cameras, and sixteen ultrasonic sensors that can detect if the driver isn’t fully attentive on the road. The standard Luminar lidar serves as an extra precaution for Volvo drivers; it has been designed to be capable of detecting small objects from two football fields away regardless of whether it’s day or night, even at highway speed.

An advanced Driver Understanding System is also part of the design, which includes a capacitive steering wheel and two cameras that monitor your attention levels on the road. If any signs of distraction or fatigue are detected, other safety systems will be activated to alert you accordingly.

The car comes as standard with a 14.5-inch center touchscreen that has Google apps and services included, such as Google Assistant for hands-free commands and Google Maps for navigation. For Apple users, the EX90 will also offer wireless Apple CarPlay.

On the inside, Volvo’s new electric SUV mirrors its Polestar 3 counterpart with a pair of synchronous permanent magnet motors and a 111kWh battery pack that doubles as a 107 kWh usable capacity.

Although the exact EPA-rated range has yet to be revealed, when we were at the global reveal for the EX90 in Europe, it was made known that this model had an estimated mileage of 372 miles (600 kilometers) with one charge. The Polestar 3 shares a similar battery and motors which gives around 300 miles per charge – so you can expect Volvo’s car to provide approximately the same range.

The EX90 is capable of accepting up to 250 kW, enabling you to reach 80% charge in just 30 minutes. However, this ultra-fast charging hinges upon having a 600 amp charger – as the car runs on 400 volts. If your CCS charger only provides 300 amps around 400 volts instead, it will take twice as long for your battery to recharge again.

The Volvo EX90’s dual electric motors boast a jaw-dropping output of 380 kW (510 horsepower) and 617 lb.-ft. (910 Nm) torque, matching that of the Polestar 3 Performance Pack. Without divulging its speed capabilities yet, we can infer from seeing those same figures in this very cousin that the EX90 should be able to offer an acceleration rate from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and reach a top velocity of 130 mph (210 km/h).

You can now pre-order the all-new 2024 Volvo EX90 on their US website! This model is “well-equipped” and priced at less than $80,000. All you need to do is put down a refundable deposit of just $500, then prepare for assembly to begin in South Carolina this year. Don’t miss out on this extraordinary opportunity – order your Volvo today.
