Following the replacement of batteries at no cost for owners of more than 141,000 vehicles that were affected,

GM lowered prices by approximately $6,000 for 2019 Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicle and EUV which are now priced at $26,595 or $28,195 respectively.

But wait there's more. Chevrolet is now planning to reimburse customers who bought more for their vehicles this year prior to the price reduction was made.

In particular the entire US customers who purchased the Bolt EV or an EUV before 2022 will be eligible for reimbursements.

It is interesting to note that the offer applies to new cars from the 2020 models of 2021,
