Gm Warns Dealers Working Flippers

Dealers and resellers who do not follow the automaker's standards continue to be pursued by GM.

GM North America President Steve Carlisle sent a letter to its dealers reminding them about their contractual obligations and GM's policies on reselling new vehicles.

In the letter, dealers are warned about high markups and deposits ahead of launches as a follow-up to a letter sent in January.

Although the previous warning covered vehicles such as the Corvette Z06.

Cadillac Lyriq, and Silverado EV, this new warning concerns resellers of high-demand GM products, such as the Hummer EV SUV, Cadillac Escalade-V.

New penalties will be imposed on those who sell the aforementioned vehicles within 12 months of taking delivery.
