GM North America President Steve Carlisle sent a letter to its dealers reminding them about their contractual obligations and GM's policies on reselling new vehicles.

In the letter, dealers are warned about high markups and deposits ahead of launches as a follow-up to a letter sent in January.

Cadillac Lyriq, and Silverado EV, this new warning concerns resellers of high-demand GM products, such as the Hummer EV SUV, Cadillac Escalade-V.
