For customers operating in California, the heavy-duty electric truck is eligible for an incentive of $120,000 per unit.

Nikola Tre is expected to have the longest range among the zero-emission Class 8 tractors eligible for HVIP and NYTVIP.

The company claims the electric truck can travel up to 350 miles (563 kilometers) on its 753-kWh battery pack.
