Polestar Wants To Build O2 Convertible Concept But It’s “Not Easy”


One of the most beautiful exhibits during the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed was the Polestar O2 electric convertible concept.

When I was asking Polestar representatives on their booth if the concept was headed for manufacturing, they seemed somewhat hesitant about their response,

but an article from the past seems to indicate that the automaker has taken the concept into consideration.

O2 is an open-top roadster which is constructed on an altered version the aluminum bonded platform utilized to construct the Polestar 5.

The Polestar 5 could have as more power than the 872 horsepower Polestar 5, although we're not certain if the display vehicle actually has two motors.

A few of the features (like rear-view cameras) are merely placeholders, which means it's possible that the car that was on display wasn't actually a vehicle that could be driven.
