Tesla And Hertz Help Uber Drivers Save Money With 15K EV Rentals


According to Uber through Electrek the company has reported that 15,000 drivers who rideshare in various cities in the US have rented Tesla's electric cars through Hertz.

We've previously reported that Hertz placed an order for 100,000 Tesla Model 3 sedans, although there was talk of adding orders to come.

In the beginning, it appeared that it could take months, or even years to have Tesla's cars in Hertz branches across the nation however.

Following the announcement that Hertz announced the fact that it ordered 100,000 Tesla vehicles.

the company announced that it would provide 50,000 Tesla rentals will be accessible to Uber drivers.
