and the model has 316 sales to date that makes us question what the rationale is to create an entirely new model? The low volume of sales makes it difficult to offset the costs of development.

With the best result coming of the month (101 units) and, cumulatively, around 500 (in California, where the Mazda MX-30 is sold) There's no reason to boast about it.
