Vietnamese automobile maker VinFast will launch the doors of six U.S. dealerships this week and will open 30 dealerships before the end of 2022 and all of them are located in California.

The company will cut the ribbon at the stores located that are located in Berkeley, Commerce, Corte Madera, San Diego, San Mateo, and Santa Monica on July 14th.

One is the two-row VF8 electric SUV priced at around $40,700. It is powered by 402 horsepower from two electric motors. The company claims to have a range that could reach 292 miles.

However, the EPA hasn't yet weighed in on this. These numbers are derived from European tests, which tend to calculate greater distances as opposed to American tests.

The third model is the 3-row VF9 priced from 55,000. It has the same powertrain as the VF8 but boasts up to 369 miles in distance (with the same limitations) because of a larger battery.
